We are looking for a talented affiliate marketer in Sydney or Melbourne to join our Publisher Development team in a strategic relationship management role.

Duties and responsibilities

A dedicated contact providing an exceptional level of relationship management and support for publishers. 

An experienced affiliate marketer who can provide strategic guidance to aid in publishers’ growth and development.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities

This role will be part of the Publisher Development Team, key tasks will include:

  • Aid our Publisher Exec and Partnerships Manager on assessing and cultivating any new business opportunities that may require your assistance and expertise
  • Collaborate with our Publisher Partnerships Manager to help activate and grow new publishers
  • Improve upon and create effective and efficient processes for our Client Services team to activate and optimize with new publishers
  • Grow publisher performance by providing exceptional and proactive management and strategic direction
  • Help to solidify Commission Factory as the preferred network and where possible be first to market with new publisher relationships 
  • Schedule and host monthly catch-ups with top publishers to check-in and discuss in-progress work
  • Source and share new publisher opportunities with the Client Services Team and keep the team updated on new technologies and features publishers may release
  • Become an expert on Mass Media Houses, influencer networks, and the tools we can provide to help content publishers succeed in the affiliate channel
  • Negotiate pricing and placement packages that are mutually beneficial for our advertisers and publishers 
  • Ensure your portfolio of publishers are joined to all appropriate programs 
  • Keep managed publishers updated on newly launched programs and make activation recommendations 
  • Perform quarterly GAP analysis to identify activation opportunities for managed publishers
  • Report on performance and provide constructive feedback when executing publisher HBRs 
  • Be a point of escalation for general affiliate support 
  • Provide guidance and learning opportunities for our Publisher Executives 
  • Pro-actively ensure the compliance of your publisher portfolio
  • Coordinate with the Product Team on creation, introduction, and communication of new tools and features Commission Factory releases 
  • Keep informed of industry trends and developments to identify future growth opportunities and communicate learnings to the rest of the team

Skills & Education

  • Relevant degree qualification in marketing/advertising/business or similar area;
  • At least 3 years of industry experience;
  • Enthusiastic, committed, and passionate about digital advertising;
  • Excellent relationship building skills, and desire to provide an unrivaled level of service;
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and identify areas of opportunity and risk
  • Committed to the growth of the business and our publisher partners by providing support to deliver the highest levels of service 
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships, externally and internally
